...chicken nuggets...
...in their typical form are so disgusting that even McDonalds, the company that paid for their development (as a means of bringing burger-like uniformity to poultry products), has banned them and replaced them with proper cuts of meat (or a reasonable facsimile thereof). Given that something like one in 5 chicken is infected with salmonella and the average chicken nugget is formed form a puree of a dozen or so chicken, they're obviously not a good idea.
This does not, however, excuse the Government for today's disgraceful announcement that they're going to ban them, and other fatty foods, from school menus as a means of combatting obesity. What a bunch of cunts. Perhaps if they actually thought about it properly it'd occur to them that a far better way to stem the rise in obesity would be to stop selling off playing fields to pay for Microfilth PCs and stop squeezing PE out of the curriculum to leave more time for IT (or rather google-induced fat-bastardry) lessons so they can rename all the shitty estate workhouses "Technology Colleges". I suspect that even this latest piece of stupidity is just a way to save money by removing the last vestiges of (the last vestiges of) expensive meat from the school menu so they can afford the latest Bank of England base-rate increase on the cost of servicing all the Private Finance Initiative swindles nationwide.
Cunts.
