...as i sat on the bus earlier...

... I had to endure three teenagers sat behind me singing some shite song ("goodbye, my friend, adios amigo, "), playing noisy games on their mobiles and talking loudly and incomprehensibly in some strange language i took to be turkish or something. I hadn't seen their faces as they got on because I was reading a newspaper. It took me fully a quarter of an hour to realise that they were actually Irish, and were speaking (some mongrel form of) english. All three were strawberry blonde.
